Death is a certainty – the only certainty. It remains an enigma and a mystery, but all of us on earth have to pass through its hands. Death is looming large over us at all times.

Death is a certainty – the only certainty. It remains an enigma and a mystery, but all of us on earth have to pass through its hands. Death is looming large over us at all times.

Death is considered to be a necessity for our evolution. It is a state of sleep. It’s just that we do not know where and when we will wake up. Death helps maintain the balance of the universe with the demand and supply, as explained by Malthus, the economist.

As said by William Shakespeare, we appear and reappear on this worlds stage as different actors playing different roles. With our desires and cravings we get attached to people place and things, and it is this longing which keeps bringing us back on to the earth plane. We do not want to leave our obsessions to the material world and cling to life dearly. But death does not spare anyone. Death relieves us of our pangs of attachment.

It helps sever the ties with who or what we are attached with. This also helps in the evolution of those left behind with new learnings.

Man goes through various kinds of experiences. Assimilation of experiences happens because of death. It is in the astral plane that consolidation and assimilation take place. Just like chewing the cud and masticating takes place, all lessons’ are completely understood and absorbed. The soul is then ready for a new birth.
