Spirit guides reside at the top-most level in the afterlife. They are an army. They are your army.
If you want to connect with your spirit guide, permit them to protect you, and they most definitely will signal their presence. It can be a sudden warmth, comfort, or something that is very intimate. It’s easier for spirit guides to work with feelings and sensations. Don’t expect that they’ll appear before you suddenly – they can’t.
Spirits vs. Ghosts
There’s a big difference between a Spirit (those who have transitioned) and a Ghost (those who have not). A ghost depends on Earthly energy to stay here. A Spirit has their own supply of energy from the other side. Since the energy of a Ghost is denser, they are mostly earth-bound. In contrast, spirits have passed onto the higher realms.
Ghosts can easily bang utensils, move chairs, throw things because it does not take them much effort. Spirits can do the same things as well, but it requires them much more energy because they vibrate at a higher frequency. Therefore, they don’t do it nearly as much as ghosts do. This is why you’ll hear and see a ghost much more easily than you’ll ever hear or see a spirit.
How do you know it’s a Spirit and not a Ghost?
If you feel sudden goosebumps and a chilling cold sweeping down your spine, yes, it’s a ghost. We have already established that spirit guides make you feel warm and comforted. You’ll catch sight of ghost apparitions all the time, but spirits only appear as orbs or smoky wisps. So can a spirit guide drain batteries and flicker the lights? Yes, they can. But if you hear a voice caught on EVP, it is most likely a ghost – a big thing for a paranormal expert. You can listen to your spirit guide, but you can never record their voice.
