Before the seventh game of the 2003 final, he was surprised that he was almost not worried. No nervous breakdown, complete peace of mind. I thought about my wife, children and friends sitting on the podium, I wouldn’t disappoint them, I wouldn’t screw up in the end.
And I remembered someone who hadn’t been around for a long time.
At the age of four, Burns stayed without a father
Immediately after the birth of Pat's second son and sixth child in the family, his father Alfred bought two clubs and hung them on the nursery wall with an X. Burns lied about his age to join the police

Pat’s first serious case is the search for the killer of a gay priest
The beginning of his work in the police almost coincided with the unplanned pregnancy of his girlfriend Susan. Fearing scandal, Pat married, but the marriage lasted only 11 months. Like his stepfather Harvey, Suzanne suffered from alcoholism.
One day she got so drunk that the police were called. Arrived, of course, Pat was terribly uncomfortable.
