How to talk to a ghost? In this excerpt, we will discuss an important topic for paranormal investigation – how to talk to ghosts? How can you communicate with a spirit easily? Read on to find out!
How to Talk to a Ghost?
There is a correct way to talk to a ghost. You have to be polite. The important thing to remember is not to provoke. In many paranormal shows, you may have seen the paranormal investigators provoking the ghosts. This is a completely wrong thing to do. Being respectful is the key. Understanding that they too were human and treating them in the correct way is essential. Begin by asking simple but direct questions without using any provocation. We have already discussed the kind of questions to ask to talk to ghosts in previous blogs. I find that when you ask them politely and there’s a ghost there who requires help or guidance, they’re going to get something through to me. However, sometimes you may sense more than you hear.
It might take you a while to talk to a ghost or hear them since they have to compile enough energy. It is very tough to do anything in relatively short order. So give them some time to reply. Plus, they’re trying to figure you out to talk to you as well. In other words, before they’re going to waste a lot of their time and energy to get through to you, they want to make sure there’s something in it for them. So while the grumpier ghosts want to scare you away and usually begin quickly by making some rather aggressive sounds, the ‘normal’ spirits are going to evaluate whether you’re worth the effort it takes to get through.
Be Patient
Again, the important thing is to be a little patient if you wish to talk to a ghost. Take batteries or plugin some electronics to give them an energy boost, and listen. Even better, take in a ghost box, white noise machine, Kll Meters, or any machine they can manipulate. We have already talked about the type of ghost hunting equipment you may require. That way, it will be easier for them to communicate with you. Since it requires far less energy on their part, their responses will be bolder and quicker.
Start by introducing yourself. Again, remember to be polite. Also, start with the questions in a nice tone. You always want to start with yes/no questions. The types of questions that you wish to ask depending upon the place where the paranormal investigation is going on. We should always remember that the spirit we are talking to was once a human and, so we should communicate with the same respect. Don’t just ask anything for the sake of it. Ask relevant and reasonable questions and repeat them several times throughout the vigil. Frame polite questions and keep in mind that the spirit has emotional energy.
Explain why you are here if you wish to talk to a ghost in the paranormal investigation. Ask questions to which they can easily give one or two-word answers. Below are some great electronic voice phenomena or EVP Questions that you can ask depending upon the history of the place: Is there anyone here that would like to talk to us? Can you tell us your name, please?, How old are you? Are you male or female? Why are you here? Are you alone? How many of you are here? Are there any children here? Is there anyone with you?, What are their names? So on and so forth!
Devise a Signal That You Like to Talk to Ghosts
So to communicate better, it is essential that you devise a signal. Like a “switch off this flashlight” or something on those lines. Ask them for a signal and then wait for a few minutes. Ask them if they need your help. You ask for a knock to verify it, you’ve saved all the energy they would have had to expend on the name, and they can use what energy they’ve accumulated for the knock instead, the verifier. Make this easy and it gets easy.
Many are also extremely concerned about their family’s well-being. In fact, it’s been my experience that many souls after passing remain for days, weeks, and sometimes months just in order to help their loved ones adjust. Occasionally, you’ll even encounter a spirit who’s made the journey to the other side and returned very quickly in order to help their families adjust. It’s very rare on a ghost hunt though to find one who has transitioned already and come back because they normally have no desire to speak with you. Unless, and this is a big one, they want to set the record straight about their death, or need you to help their families somehow. Maybe relay a message.
